Hafeez Khan
Welcome! I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science, working on continual learning, vision-language models, and novel view synthesis. My advisor is Siddhartha Bhattacharyya, and I am funded by NASA Langley Research Center. Alongside my PhD, I have worked closely with mentors from Microsoft Research, American Heart Association, Collins Aerospace. Through these collaborations, I have gained extensive experience especially in self-supervised learning, 3D/4D reconstruction, and multi-modal learning. I am currently working on compression of 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) models and plan to submit a paper on it to ECCV 2026. Also, I recently submitted my 3DGS compression algorithm to a competition hosted by Meta at ICCV 2025, and I won the 1st place for lossless 3DGS model compression.
Previously, I completed my undergraduate studies at BITS Pilani Dubai, where I finished my thesis under the guidance of Raja Muthalaghu and received the Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis Award.
Reach out by email if our interests align and you wish to collaborate!
Also, I’m actively seeking an internship for Summer 2026—because models aren’t the only ones that need continual learning!!
